THE chance to explore flower meadows while learning about the environment is offered by St Michael's (Princetown) Trust.
Entitled 'A Passion for Creation', a two-day event on April 19 and 20 at Brimpts Farm, Dartmeet, will be led by Professor Sir Ghillean Prance — who worked for 25 years at the New York Botanical Gardens.
Prof Prance will speak on current threats to the environment, the wonders of the earth and a theology of creation. In between talks he will lead an exploration of local plants.
On the Friday evening he will recount stories from his expeditions to different parts of the world, including the Amazon.
