OKEHAMPTON'S fundraising group for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research has come up with a novel new way to advertise.

Over the past year, Mary Tomes of the group has started to recycle greeting cards of all descriptions, from birthday cards to sympathy cards, to sell at the group's stall that visits the area's craft markets and events.

These are then sold at a price lower than on the high street to make a profit for the charity.
