A new granite bench has been placed by the old oak tree at Meavy, using part of the proceeds from last year's Party on the Green event. The bench is in memory of David Lee, village resident and regular at the Royal Oak, who died last year. The balance of the proceeds has been presented to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI).
