BEFORE kick off the girls stood for a minute?s silence in respect of Robin Fenner who supported the girls at the beginning when others had not.
The girls did him proud when they started play full of enthusiasm and Glasspoole, Rose and Gale soon had the defence of Activate reeling.
It was this pressure that forced a mistake at the back and an own goal.
The second goal was a superb strike from Rose which flew into the top of the net.
The second half saw the introduction of Gorden on the left wing and great runs and passing by Gorden set up Rose for her second.
Activate kept plugging away but Foster in goal kept a clean sheet.
Gale made some tremendous runs down the wing and sent numerous crosses into the box but no one could convert. Shaw ran all over the pitch and had a number of fine shots at goal. After a goalmouth scramble the ball came out to Glasspoole who shot low and hard. It took a slight deflection but went flying into the net.
The game was rounded up by another screamer from Rose getting her hat-trick and taking home the match ball.
