I WOULD like to express my thanks to the park keepers and all concerned in the management of Simmons Park and the meadows beyond to the Pig Bridge.
It has been kept beautifully clean, despite all the pressure on such a well used community place.
In particular, I have appreciated the sympathetic management of the meadow, allowing the full flowering of spring plants such as Ransome?s red campion and ground ivy in the splendid riverside setting.
This is sustainability at its best.
