GERALDINE and Brian Bailey from Horrabridge have given a gift from the heart this Christmas, by raising £930 for a national charity.

A Christmas heart fair organised by Geraldine and held in Tavistock Church Rooms on December 8 has raised the fantastic sum for British Heart Foundation.

She was inspired to organise the event after the charity supported Brian through a serious heart condition.

The event comprised of a dozen stalls, selling arts, crafts and fresh produce like jams.

There was also a charity draw and refreshments on offer.

Geraldine expressed her thanks to all the volunteers and those who attended and donated to help make the event a success.
