TAVISTOCK?S first goal came from Kath Collar who took the ball into the D and had a good strike.
This spurred the team on and good passing on the left from Sue Hornby, Rachel Thorne and Becky Hutton allowed Thorne to slot the ball into the goal.
Due to the strong attacking play of Tavistock, defenders Babs Horton and Fiona Dunn sat high up on the pitch allowing the ball to go back to the midfield or forwards should it be hit out.
Laura Armstrong struck some strong balls into the D. Gawman was quick to get on the end of these and struck the ball into the goal.
The forwards were goal hungry and Bowden kept the pressure on in the D allowing Tavistock to poach any rebound balls. Thorne used this to her advantage and sneaked the ball past the keeper.
Numerous short corners were awarded to Tavistock and through one of these Thorne scored her hat-trick.
Mills, Bowden and Gawman continued to run circles around the opposition and Bowden took the ball into the D and scored.
Launceston changed their players in the second half and Tavistock were put under pressure in the first minutes. Goalkeeper Rebecca Creasy was quick to deflect a ball with her stick.
Cork scored through good watching of the ball ? as the keeper hit it out, she was quick to push it back in past her. A good ball allowed Gawman to have an excellent run up the pitch and score.
Bowden scored the last goal of the match.
