MAY I through the pages of your paper, thank everyone who attended the concert in the church on Thursday March 20. This event was jointly organised by the local committees of the British Heart Foundation and the Children?s Hospice South West and was a great success.
We would like to thank the Plymouth Area Police Choir for the entertainment they provided and Preb Rawlings for allowing us to use the parish church.
It is rare for charities to join together like this to organise events but one, which has worked well for us, with both charities benefiting financially from the event. The funds raised will help both charities to continue their valuable work.
