A TOTAL of £1,000 was raised for the Macmillan Nurses big coffee morning appeal by Pauline Fisk and Bridget Cole at Pauline's house a few weeks ago.

The original sum raised was £900 plus but Mrs Cole most generously contributed to the shortfall to make a round sum of £1,000.

All congratulations must go to the organisers, and a big thank you to all who came to support this worthy cause.
