A FANTASTIC sum of more than £3,000 was raised at the Tavistock Church Bazaar last Saturday as people packed the town hall to buy some early Christmas gifts.
There were stalls in every shape and size with with the friends' group and children's group as well as local brownies running their own stalls to boost funds.
The event was organised by Ruby Ditcher, pictured back row, second left, with the Rev Michael Brierley and Tavistock mayor and mayoress Robin and Diana Pike together with members of the brownies and, of course, Father Christmas, who dropped in for the occasion.
