ON the cover of the West Devon Connect magazine, from West Devon Borough Council', it states 'Your recycling and waste collections are improving.'
On studying their changes, for the better, laid out in this publication, I note that refuse will be collected fortnightly instead of weekly. I see this as the reverse to improvement and strongly object.
During the last decade we have been inundated by rules concerning Health and Safety, incurring expense and inconvenience in the process. Keeping refuse around for a fortnight does not co-incide with health and safety.
