A FAREWELL ball, in honour of Alan Wroath, a former deputy headteacher at Tavistock College, was held last Saturday. Alan, who lives in Tavistock, is retiring at the end of this term, after being headteacher at Launceston College for some 13 years. On Saturday staff, governors and friends gathered to wish him a long and happy retirement with a buffet and a dance band.
