THE sun was shining for pancake races in Okehampton's Red Lion Yard on Saturday.

Organised by the town's chamber of trade, the event saw 15 races for people of all ages, with prizes supplied by Boomerang.

Tasty pancakes were also made and sold by the Okehampton Twinning Group, to raise funds for the entertainment of visitors from Craon next summer.

Organisers expressed thanks to Rob from Boomerang, Jan Goffey, Vicki and Lachlan Mills, Charlotte Quickenden, Steve Bolt and everyone who supported the event.
