TWO swimmers from Tavistock Swimming Club travelled to Millfield School in Somerset recently for the Western Counties Age Group championships 2002.
Kirsty Best, aged 10, and Rebecca Mills, aged 12, competed in the 200m breaststroke and 50m butterfly respectively, both gaining excellent times in what for Kirsty was her first experience of a 50m pool.
Also qualifying for the championships but unable to compete on the day was Christopher Ralph, aged 14.
