STAFF at Tavistock Library are holding a ?Festive Morning? on Friday, December 13, to say thank you to the library?s users and supporters by providing free coffee or tea and mince pies for visitors.
The Christmas coffee morning runs between 10am-12noon.
And later that evening, the newly-formed Friends of Tavistock Library are holding their first event ? a celebration of Christmas in words and music.
The event at the Library will feature readings, music and songs of a festive flavour.
The evening runs from 7.30-9.15pm. Tickets are available from the Library ?costing £2.50 for adults or 50p for children ? the price includes refreshments.
There will also be a prize raffle during the evening.
All proceeds from the celebration of Christmas evening will help support future library events.
