ON Sunday December 10, Roadford Lake's Christmas Fair is set to return with a whole host of food and craft producers selling their ware, providing the finest presents and local produce. With something for everyone from stocking fillers to recipe ideas, contemporary jewellery for gals and guys, special treats for the table and decorations for inside and out, there is no reason not to buy locally this Christmas. Exhibitors at the Fair include The Natural Beef Company, from Merton; Right Rascals - caricatures and sculptures of Holsworthy; Tregadillett Turners; Creative Flowers, Okehampton and Tavistock Cake Craft. There will also be jewellery from Moonrakers and The Town Jewels of Broadwoodwidger, bottled ales from Tarka Ales, West Lakes Orchards apple juice and honey, preserves by Devon Rustics and local photography by Rachel Birch and Jen Bryant. With too many to name, other products include chocolate, metal sculptures, hand crafted woollens, stoneware, pottery, original paintings and more. And with a Santa's grotto from 2pm to 4pm, face painting and crafts, and the interactive visitor centre, there will be plenty to keep the children occupied. The Lakeside Restaurant will be open all day serving hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks. The Christmas Fair at Lakeside will be open from 11am to 4pm on Sunday December 10. Entry to the Fair is included in the parking fee, £1 for two hours or £2 for all day.
