TOWN ground out a worthy victory against a well-disciplined Looe also chasing a promotion spot.
Brave goalkeeping by Karl Griffiths kept Looe at bay and relief was all round the Tavistock supporters when Sean Cleave opened the scoring.
It was Cleave?s turn to become supplier with a neat back-heel that sent Luke Stephenson away for Tavistock?s second. Tavistock allowed Looe back into the game but managed to keep possession to win and take fourth place on their own.

A SUPERB goal from the halfway line by Scott Pluckrose was the outstanding piece of skill in a good game for Tavistock.
First goal for the club by Jack Campbell and a second in the first half by Dan Adams never allowed Plymstock to get close. With James Follett and Mike Morgan battling in midfield the game was never under threat. Goals in the second half came from by Smyly then the superb Pluckrose goal from the halfway line when he lobbed the keeper.
