CHILDREN from St Rumon's Infants School in Tavistock ventured out onto Dartmoor last week to explore the moor for their topic work.
The Year 1 and 2 children visited Pew Tor in great weather for a spot of letterboxing.
The group then followed the stone row up to the top of Peek Hill to marvel at the view of Burrator Reservoir below.
The foundation stage children visited Princetown on a rather wet day but were offered welcome hospitality at Princetown Primary School for a chance to have a dry place for lunch.
