CALSTOCK Footpath Society has organised a four-mile round walk on footpaths and tracks, taking in significant features, historical and geological, adjacent to Morwellham on Saturday, February 15.
Starting at Rok, where parking is limited, the route will pass Morwell Barton, Pleasure Rock and Morwell Rock, then taking the Tamar Trail to the top of the old incline railway, the canal portal and the Morwell power station reservoir before descending to New Quay and Morwellham.
On the return route, participants have been invited to view the interior of the barn at Morwell Barton, where restoration work has revealed a mural.
Participants should bring a packed lunch and wear suitable clothing and footwear.
No dogs are allowed on the walk.
A donation of £2 is requested from non members of the society.
Meet at 10.30am at the layby at Rock, off the B3257 Bere Alston (SX4500710).
