A bargain for June at the museum . . . Headline

TO CELEBRATE the Queen's Golden Jubilee there will be no admission charge at Okehampton's Museum of Dartmoor Life during June.

Throughout the month a special exhibition is being staged of memorabilia and memories surrounding the Queen's Coronation.

On June 15 there will also be a display of 1950s cars and motorcycles in the courtyard.

The museum is in touch with local collectors, and photographs and memories of the Queen's Coronation, both of events that happened locally and further afield, are starting to come in.

But there is always room for more so if you have a tale to tell or have stumbled across some old pictures in the attic contact the museum on 01837 52295.
