POLICE have launched a murder investigation following the death of a 22-year-old man at Kelly Bray.
The man from Plymouth had been taken to Derriford Hospital following an incident at around 9.30pm on Thursday, March 26, when he was found unconscious with a significant head injury. Unfortunately, he tragically died yesterday (Saturday).
A 37-year-old man was also taken to Derriford Hospital on Thursday evening where he is being treated for multiple injuries which are considered life-changing, possibly life-threatening. He has been arrested on suspicion of murder but, due to his injuries, remains in hospital receiving treatment.
A 29-year-old man from Gunnislake, who had been arrested on suspicion of murder, has now been released on police bail. A further 26-year-old male from Callington has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.
