One incident a couple of weeks ago saw PCSO Addems and PCSO Hambrook attend reports of two youths on their bikes knocking on the windows of cars parked by the traffic lights in Fore Street. The police said that when they got the attention of the motorist they would push their wing mirrors in. The neighbourhood team identified those involved, gave them suitable words of advice and told them to leave the area.
The youths were advised that if their behaviour continued they would be receiving a stage one anti-social behaviour warning.
Patrols of the free car park in Saltash Road by the neighbourhood team have seen a marked decrease in anti-social behaviour.
