POLICE are appealing for information following a recent incident of fly tipping near Denham Bridge.

Four large, upright fridges and a smaller fridge were left on the back road near the A386, not far along from the road to Bere Alston via Denham Bridge.

A police spokesperson said: ‘Police came across some fly tipping recently and would like help in identifying the offenders as it is well known that people who do this once carry on doing it. In this case it looks as though a commercial premises may have been cleared — four large, upright fridges were dumped along with a small one. They are glass fronted so may well have come from a pub or some sort of catering location. They are mostly Hotpoints and one has distinctive, round handles.

‘Did you pay to have these items cleared from your property? They were found on the back road near the A386 not far along the road to Bere Alston via Denham Bridge so the goods could very easily have come from Plymouth.’
