A MAN received a head injury after an altercation took place between dog walkers in the Pound area of Yelverton on Saturday morning (April 28).

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident which took place at 10.30am.

The offender was described as a white man, 6ft tall, large build, greying hair and in his 60s. He was described as being ‘tidily dressed’ with a dark coloured coat, possibly green. He was described as having bright blue eyes and a walking stick.

A police spokesperson said: ‘He was in company with a white female also in her 60s who was short in height and wearing a black coat. They were walking two female black Labrador dogs.’
