Detectives have charged a man with robbery in connection to an incident which happened at a garage in Lamerton near Tavistock on Friday 27 October.

Kurtis Lennox, aged 20 and from Plymouth, was arrested on Friday 27 October and subsequently charged with robbery, possession of an imitation firearm, and possession of a bladed article, and appeared before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday, 30 October).

An 18-year-old woman from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting an offender and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The officer in the case, Detective Constable Callum South, said: “We are appealing for information from anyone who may have been passing Carrs Garage, Lamerton, between 1.30pm and 1.45pm on Friday 27 October.

“We are especially seeking anyone who was driving in the area who has a dash cam in their vehicle.

“I am urging them to please contact the police quoting crime reference 50230285148.
