Police investigating a road traffic collision involving a cyclist in his 90s and a car are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The collision happened at around 3.15pm on Thursday, 27 May on an unclassified road close to Harrowbeer Airfield, Yelverton.
The incident involved a man in his 90s who was riding a black/grey electric pedal-assist bicycle and a blue Peugeot 207.
The cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.
Local police officers, roads policing officers, forensic collision investigators and crime scene investigators completed a thorough examination of the scene and launched an investigation.
Police would like to thank the members of the public for their help and patience whilst the examination took place.
Police are requesting that any witnesses with any information to come forward, unless they have already been in contact with officers at the scene.
