IT was sunshine all the way for Captain?s Charity Day at Tavistock Golf Club on September 16 and 90 competitors turned out to support captain Mike Apps. More than £4,000 was raised for Mike?s charities which are CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids), Dogs for the Disabled and Macmillan Nurses. In the stableford competition the prize for the best men?s pair went to Alan Greening and Peter Kelly (46 points). The winners of the prize for the best mixed pair were Adrian and Sally Hills.
