THE annual Ten Tors challenge this year celebrated its 50th anniversary, the historic milestone being marked by a visit from the Duke of Edinburgh, patron of the event.

Among the many teams taking part in the challenging event were these students from Tavistock College's 45-mile team. They are George Rodgers, Rufus Gould, Ciaron Stoker, Robin Jones, Sam Eaton and Tom Sparks.
