THE Big Quiz is back! Every November from 1990 to 2003, Bridestowe Parish Hall ran a popular quiz that attracted teams from all over Devon.

Its outstanding feature was its size, with 300 questions across a range of subjects. The quiz stopped when when the hall closed down. But now that Bridestowe has recently opened a new hall —opposite the garage on the old A30 — the Big Quiz is back.

It will be on Friday November 21. If you'd like to enter, register your team from 7pm for a prompt start at 7.30pm. It costs £12 per team of four which includes a pasty (meat or veggie).
