PETER Tavy Scottish Country Dancers celebrated their 21st anniversary with a special Cream Tea Dance at Lamerton Village Hall on Saturday, May 4.

Founder member and leader of the group, Patrick Cashell, spoke of the group’s 21 years of dancing, noting that 220 dancers had come along at various times over the years. Seven of those who had been present at the first-ever evening were present at the tea.

Thirty-five members enjoyed an afternoon of dancing, a delicious cream tea and a splendid anniversary cake baked by Elizabeth Swan.

Patrick was presented with a ‘21st birthday’ card and gift in gratitude for the enjoyment he has brought to dancers over the years.
