TAVISTOCK Town Hall was rockin' and rollin' on Saturday night as the Western Union Jive Club hosted a successful band night.

Almost 150 eager rock 'n' roll and jive fans danced the night away to Joey and the Jivers from the Isle of Wight, creating a terrific atmosphere in the hall.

The Western Union Jive Club, a local 50s style rock 'n' roll club, puts on three band nights at the town hall each year in February, June and October, in addition to regular monthly rock 'n' roll DJ nights at St Dominick and Lamerton.
