THE rejuvenated South Zeal side travelled to fellow high flyers Pinhoe seconds, confident of another victory.

The visitors started the game in confident fashion with the central midfield duo of Redd Cann and Harry Smith bossing the centre of the park in the early stages.

This led to Ryan Dennis making tremendous progress down the left flank, with his myriad of skills easily outfoxing the Pinhoe fullback. Senior players Lee Gilbert and Harley Cann martialled the Zeal troops with uncompromising precision, shutting down the Pinhoe advance at every turn.

Zeal deservedly took the lead after 25 minutes, thanks to the goal scoring Adam Clark. This remained the score until half time, with Zeal clearly in the ascendancy.

The second half was a slightly closer affair as the home team picked up the pace. However, man of the match Ryan Dennis, had different ideas and his scintillating, weaving runs brought about a second goal for South Zeal captain Harley Cann. South Zeal closed out the game in impressive fashion.
