ONE hundred and fifty primary school children from all over the borough arrived at Tavistock College on Friday to take part in the West Devon finals of the Quad Kids' event. All the children took part in a 75m sprint, standing long jump, vortex throw and a 600m run. There were some outstanding individual performances with Theo Jackson-Clyst from South Tawton school coming out top of the boys and Amy Brimacombe of St Andrew's school topping the girls' results. The top 5 individual results were girls: 1, Amy Brimacombe, St Andrew's, Buckland Monachorum; 2, Lily Griffiths-Carnell, Mary Tavy and Brentor; 3, Darcy Hollinson, Whitchurch; 4, Beth Mitchell, North Tawton; 5 Kate Hillson, St Andrew's.
