YELVERTON Golf Club veteran ladies played their August Stableford competition for the Norton rose bowl. Former lady captain Lorina Norton presented the veterans' trophy to the ladies' section in 1964. The bronze section winner was Trudi Luke with 38 points and the silver section winner was Helen Harris with 34 points. Trudi, who is the club's vice-president, received her trophy from lady captain Diane Reardon (pictured left).
