YELVERTON Golf Club men veterans played a return match with Bude in a matchplay — winning by three and a half to two and a half and by 7-5 over the two games.

In a three ball, two to count, competition first, with 85 points, was Joe Daw, Keith Clench and Terry Maber; second with 83 Ian Edwards, Mike Ayres and Brendan McVeigh; third, with 80, were Mike Ferris Eric Whyte Mike Bates and fourth on 79 Paddy Westell, Eddie Primmer and Brian Medhurst.
