STEVE Dodd, the chairman of the Plymouth and Liskeard MS Society, with fundraiser Jo Ley for MS were at Yelverton Golf Club to receive a cheque for £1705.94 from the club. They received the cheque from immediate past captain Glenda Thompson.

The money was raised during her year for the captain's charity.

New lady captain Diane Reardon has chosen the Devon Air Ambulance Trust for her charity for this year.
