YELVERTON U15s had a successful week in both the league and cup. In the league, they defeated Ivybridge U15s by 101 runs.  Batting first Yelverton scored 201-3 off 20 overs, with useful contributions from skipper Jay Warner on 44, Ben Pearson, 33, and undefeated 29 not outs from James Douie and Matt Adams.  Extras top scored with 64. In reply, Ivybridge scored 99-7 off their 20 overs.  Will Johnson took 2-11, and Matt Adams, Matt Smith and Josh Halloran a wicket each for Yelverton.

In the Palladium Cup Yelverton entertained Plymouth in a second round tie. Plymouth batted first and useful spells from Sam Skelton (2-16) ahd Tom Bedford (3-15) and wickets also for Warner (1-24) and Ben Pearson (2-24) restricted Plymouth to 100- 9.   In reply, Yelverton wobbled at 6-3 but the fourth wicket pair of Ben Pearson and Matt Adams put together a partnership of 64 to get Yelverton back on track before Adams was bowled for 27 with the total on 70.  It was left to Pearson (55 no) and Damon Akerman (8no) to see the team home on 103-5 for a five wicket victory.
