THE ladies of Yelverton Golf Club played a medal and pink tee brooch earlier this month.

Division one: Winner, Sue Pearman, 72 nett; Runner-up, Gilly Jarvis, 74 nett.

Division two: Penny Hunter, 79 nett (back 9); Verna Isaac, 79 nett.

Thursday, September 13 — Past Ladies Captains competition: 13 holes played, followed by a luncheon with the competitors and any other past ladies captains.

The best score of the day was the present Ladies' cptain Teresa Holt with a magnificent score of 32 points over 13 holes.

Handicap secretary Trudi Luke presented Teresa with a bottle of wine.

Thursday, September 20 — Stableford and Murray Rose Bowl. The bowl presented in 1988 by Mrs Jean Murray LC 1987 to be incorporated with September stableford for the best 21-36 handicap player's score (net).  

Division one: Barbara Collier, 32 points; Margaret Flanagan, 28 points.

Division two: Anne Harris, 35 points (back 9), winner of the Murray Rose Bowl; Dene Drown, 35 points, runner -up for the Murray Rose Bowl.
