KELLY College Swim Squad went to Bodmin on Saturday for the second round of the Cornwall and West Devon League.

With 27 first placings, Kelly were the convincing winners of this round, with 248 points beating teams from Bodmin, Carn Brea/Helston, Kingsbridge, Launceston and Camelford and Tavistock. Kelly swimmers claimed 17 personal best times and Cara Layden broke the Kelly record for 12 year old girls 50m freestyle with a time of 29.03.

The swimmers who took part: Chloe Barrow, Thomas Brew, Scarlett Harrison, Thomas Harrison, Danuse Horka, Georgia Jones, Cara Layden, Jemma Layden, Sam Lewis, Will Luckham-Down, Katy Miles, Nathan Miller, Robert Nielsen, Lawrence Oxborough, Molly Redford, Jacob Staig, Gabrielle Wardle, Harry Wardle, Nikita Ivanov, Megan Benton, Lois Thornton, Sian Temple, Victoria Moore, Nathan Linden, and Archie Trevethan.

Kelly will now be in the top gala for the final round of the league which will be held on Sunday, June 24.
