YELVERTON Golf Club men veterans took part in a three ball better ball last week. 

The winners, with 78 points were Les Trace, Richard Gard and John Soutar; second, on 76pts were Tony Bowden, Derek Maughan, Mike Bates and third, on 75pts were David Hanley, Chris Pearn and Graham Steen.
