CONSERVATIVE A continued their good vein of form in the Tavistock Snooker League with back to back maximums as they overcame Conservative Z with a 5-0 win.
However, they flattered to deceive as all five frames were a struggle and Con Z can feel hard done by coming away empty handed. Close wins for Folley, Evans, Carruthers and Longden did the damage, with Bell producing the best performance of the night for Con A by taking out their danger man Morton to ice the five frame cake.
Tavy A were also racking up a 5-0 win over Con C, in a one sided affair. Ryall, Hoar, Horrell and Hicks faced little resistance for Tavy with Hicks (28) even piling up an 81-1 win over Hoare. The closest the Con C side came to salvaging any thing was Angie Ward who gave a good account of herself before falling to Woods. In fact Angie's 46 points were only 12 points less than the total combined scores of all her team mates put together.
