OKEHAMPTON Running Club member Adrian Kettle who ran the Endurancelife Classic Quarter in Cornwall last week came in 21st in this 44 mile ultra marathon.

The race goes from the Lizard to Land's End along the steeply undulating coast path and was run in conditions that varied from torrential rain with thunder and lightning to a hot sunny afternoon. This was his first attempt at anything over the full marathon distance and he finished in an excellent 9 hours 01 minute 36 seconds.
