THE final of Mary Tavy Snooker Club competition was played on April 9 between Adam Fielder and Martyn Smale.

Adam Fielder played very well, but Martyn Smale was on top form and won two out of the three games to win the trophy which was presented to him by Mary Tavy Parish Councillor Paul Williams, chairman of the club.

The billiards final was played on April 21 between Dave Luxton and Martyn Smale.

Martyn won the first game. Dave was well ahead in the second game, but Martyn, helped by a break of 27, finally pulled ahead to win. The billiards trophy was presented to Martyn by John Banks, Secretary of the Mary Tavy Club.
