ON Sunday eight members of Tavistock Triathlon Club took part in the Plymouth 10k run. It was glorious weather and many members achieved personal bests. Results: Pete Tomes 38 minutes 56 seconds, Craig Howells 41.14, Hannah Colston 46.15, Liz Vernon 49.49, Dave Sparks 52.17, Cassandra McDowall 54.41, Karen McClung 57.41, and Laura Evenden 58.44. Two members took part in the Okehampton Hammer Gran Fondo — Lindsey Hobbs and Nicky Deane-Simmons completed the 70 miles in under five hours.
