Triathlon

SEVEN members of Tavistock Triathlon Clun travelled to Helston to take part in the second event of the IntoTri series — a sprint triathlon which consisted of 400m pool swim, 25km cycle and a 5km run to finish.

Ollie Beilby finished second overall with a great time of 1hr 12 mins 06 secs, Lewis Mill 1.27.31, Laura Newton 1.40.04 (fourth in age group), Emma Dooney 1.42.11, Cassandra McDowall 1.45.32, Karen McClung 1.48.01 and Salman Waqar in his first ever triathlon 2.02.17.

Also this weekend four ladies travelled to Tiverton to take part in the Exe Valley Triathlon.

In the sprint distance Louisa Frost 1.23.59, Hannah Walters 1.27.08, Lindsay Hobbs 1.28.51 (fourth in age group) and Laura Evenden in the novice race  1.15.15.
