TAVISTOCK Gymn-astics Club are jumping with joy after receiving £2,000 towards equipment and training for the Co-op Community Fund.

David Stanbury, from the Co-operative group's South Devon committee, said: 'I'm delighted the Co-op Community Fund is helping Tavistock Gymnastics Club build on their excellent work. The money has been donated by our members to encourage children, some very young indeed — to be active and make the best use of their bodies in a splendid cause.

'Our money will provide suitable equipment and enable even more youngesters to be trained.'

Michelle Isaac, on behalf of the club, thanked the Co-op for their donation.

Tavistock Gym Club is run on a Saturday morning at Tavistock College Gym. Children welcome from 5 years-old.
