THE TAMAR Trails running event at Gulworthy on Saturday was part of the global support for Matt Campbell, who took part in the London Marathon the previous week and sadly died just 3.7 miles from the finish line.

So far, more than £318,000 has been raised on his just giving page he set up for the Brathay Trustwww.justgiving.com/fundraising/mattcampbell-londonmarathon

The run was organised by Stuart Queen from the Tamar Trails Runners and supported by Colin-Kirk Potter, who runs the Run Venture Trail Running Hub.

Trailers were joined by members of Tavistock Athletics Club, including some of the runners, who actually ran the London Marathon, which was an absolute honour.
