Tavistock Swimming Club entered two relays teams in the Devon County Relay Championships, which took place at the Life Centre in Plymouth.

The team of Kieran Rookes, Cameron McGurk, Harry Thompson and Gavin Ball competed in the male 15/16 year old age group. In their first event – the 4 x 50m medley relay, they all produced good swims which resulted in them winning the bronze medal.

They followed this up with another set of superb swims to also win the bronze medal in the 4 x 50m freestyle relay.

The men's open relay team of Nathaniel Rookes, Michael Best, Gareth Williams and Matthew Edwards competed in a highly competitive 4x100m freestyle relay. They all went close to or under their personal best times and finished sixth in an exciting relay.
