ON Sunday Devon U17s played their first games of the season against Cornwall at Tavistock Rugby Club. 

In the first match between the two county B teams Devon dug deep to earn a convincing 12-0 victory. 

In the A Team match Cornwall got off to a lively start and scored an early try to take a seven point lead.  Devon fought back hard and deservedly won the match 8-7.

Devon U17s will play Somerset on April 7 at Cullompton.
