THE Tinhay Darts League Finals Night took place at the Tavy Club on Friday. Pete Gibson thanked club owner Sally for an excellent buffet, and also sponsor Tinhay Building Supplies for its support. Ralph Millard, league president, presented the trophies. P Evans and J Hutton won the doubles 3-2, I Rawlinson won the singles 3-1 and D Webber scored 180. Prize winners were: League winners, Leaping Salmon, runners up, Duke of York; Cup winners, Leaping Salmon, runners up, Tavy Club; Singles winner, I Rawlinson, Tavy Club, runner up, D Webber, Mary Tavy Inn; Doubles winners, P Evans and J Hutton, Duke of York, runners up, D Jeffrey and C Anderson, Leaping Salmon; Most league wins, A Greenaway, Leaping Salmon; Highest shot out, P Bowen 161, Tavy Club; Most 180s, A Greenaway 5, Leaping Salmon. The annual meeting will be held at the Burrator Inn on Monday, July 28 at 7.30pm. New teams are welcome.
